Under current Florida law, anyone born on or after January 1, 1988 must complete an approved boating safety course to legally operate a vessel powered by 10 horsepower or more. Once completed, they receive a Boating Safety Education Identification Card, which must be carried along with a photo ID while operating the boat. please use the link below
